Life just kept on moving. It stopped for no one, for nothing. There was nothing that could stop the aging of even those of immortal bloodlines. Those who continued to live through the years, enver fading in beauty or strength. But it was a fearful thought, to live forever. At least, to Ailios it was. He had a dearest companion, Juliana. She was a beautiful mare. An angel painted in perhaps the most beautiful golden colors, blessed with marks of beauty and a heart and soul similar to his own. But did he love her? No. He loved no fair maiden. Not yet. And he could honestly say he was unsure if he might ever find his angel who was meant to be his eternal lover, in life and in death. But this was a thought that only danced across his ivory crania for but a brief moment.
The strong stallion stood tall and proud, his bodice muscle and power, as well as handsome. His silver dipped limbs and mug added to his exotic look. His banners tinged the same silver, he was a dazzlingly wild and prideful sight when painted in moonlight. But the afternnon sun was hidden behind the gray clouds that loomed gloomily over the world. And in the distance, creeping closer, attempting to surprise all in Fragile Silence, was a storm. And a large one. But Ailios was ready. Earws forward, he eyed the looming mass with daring in his earthen eyes. But he remained still as he stood within the seemingly endless expanse of field. There were a few equines as well as canines scattering themselves about this land. But Ailios stood off to the side, simply looking on. He had no buisness here other than to simply see what could be seen.
And so, he stood there, his gaze watchful and yearning for knowledge. as it always was.

Sundancer walked slowly through the never ending grasses. Her palomino splashed hide looked like a moving dead patch of grass from a distance. Her belly swollen with life, a result of what now haunts her dreams. It continuously flashes through her mind, the black stallion, a stranger in her life, the full moon upon her hide and the fight she gave to keep herself alive. Oh the pain he pressed upon her. She remembers the blood and the wounds he inflicted on her body and her future.
Her head held low, trying to keep herself concealed within the shelter of the tall grasses. She would do her best to avoid any contact with any other equine, suffering in silence and solitude. Yet just as she felt secure his scent met her nares and her pinks flared. Her body twitched with nervousness and she lifted her head, emerald pools scanning, auds alert. Catching site of the grey stag, she stood still, unsure on what to, she approached a little closer but paused, wincing from her foal kicking inside.132

As Ailios stood there, he felt a familiar sensation. Falling gently upon his hide lkike butterflies, was snow. The first snow of the first day of winter. He exhaled, looking to the gloomy sky, his breath coming into visibility as it escaped his nares in a smokey mass. His sides expanded and contracted calmly as he watched the crystalline flakes falling. No doubt the grasses would remain about the coming blanket of white powder that would only need a few more days to accumulate. Rising from the snow in utter defiance. Ah, the beauty there was in life and the living.
As he mused over the beauties and splendors of winter, and everyday life, he felt as though someone were watching him. The winds carried upon their currents the scent of a female. Following the scent, he soon spotted a mare. Pregnant, judging by the scent. His ears tipped forward as his earthen gaze watched her as she watched him. But his gaze held more of a curiosity as to what had caught her eye and interested her, though it was clearly written in her cautious behaviors she was timid. Of him, or his gender in general? He remained still, muscles relaxed but handsomely defined beneath his somewhat shaggy winter pelt, the flakes melting when they were greeted with the warmth that radiated off his bodice.
She was beautiful. He realized this, but no lust found its way unto his steady gaze, calm and harmless. He was of knightly stature. Bold and brave, but agreat sense of moral and passionate about his beliefs. No ill intentions did cross his mind as he simply returned the mare's looks. And when she winced, his left ear only twitched ever so slightly, the one and only thing that changed. But his vocals, deep and calm rang out over the distance between them, reaching her.
" Lovely winter's day, isn't it?"

She looks upon him with her emerald gaze. Unsure of what to say, or do. Her body twitched of nervousness, her heart pounding within her chest. She winced once more then turned her nape towards her belly and nuzzled it. Whispering. "Easy now m'love, i can only take so much" She smiled slightly then returned her gaze upon him.
Her auds flicked with his voice, very knightly and he didn't seem so threatening. She eased her way forward, pausing every few steps to make sure nothing had changed. when she came within a few feet she halted, looking on. She finally let her vocals loose, such a voice to make one melt before her.
"Aye.'Tis a bit nippy though." That is all she spit out, still a bit unsure.136

Eyes of emerald stared back into his eyes of earthen color. There was a fear within those beautiful eyes of hers. But he knew better than to invade the privacy of a complete stranger that wasn't seeking out healp or counsel. All the same, he couldn't help but wonder how such a fair madien would fall into such a fear that lit up her eyes of such beautiful coloration. They were deep, but locked away behind a door that she kept that way from the world. He didn't blame her for the way she hid hedr true emotions and soul from the world. No doubt such impurities have already done enough trauma to her.
She moved closer, and he remains still, perhaps the only movement a small twitch in his powerful chest as the fae makes her way closer to him. His mind flickers to the image of his beautiful travelling companion, practically his little sister, Juliana. She was an utterly beautiful soul whose seen the ugliness of the world through himself and brutal fights between other equines. It saddened and enraged her. She found such things to be sinful, and sought out an answer that would most likely never find its way to her. But all the same, he admired her. When the mare stopped a few feet away, he shifted to face her properly, arching his powerful nape in a gentleman's bow, silver tassels draping over the side of his nape klike waterfalls of silver water. He rose his head when he heard her voice, and smiled kindly to her.
" There always is, m'dear."
He cleared his throat.
" I'm called Ailios. 'Tis a pleasure to meet you miss. Might I have the honor or knowing your calling, if this is alright and comfortable for you?"
And so, patiently, he waited.

Sensing that no harm nor threat is to come about, Sundancer relaxes her posture, but the possibility of change never fades from her mind. Her emerald pools ease themselves and she makes a slight gesture by tipping her tiara in greeting, still keeping her distance. She nods in agreement. This will be the fourth winter of her life, yet very soon another will be joining her side, but for now it remains inside her. squirming and kicking at times as if dying to get a taste of the world on the outside.
She watches him as he asks her of her calling. She thought momentarily. Was her name worthy enough to be spoken of? Shrugging she parted her kissers, replying."It does not hold much importance, my calling be Sundancer, and it is a pleasure to meet you Alios. You must be the first equine i have even neared within months. I can see within your eyes that you hold questions. Questions deserve an answer, but I must know that i can trust you first, not to harm me or my unborn foal, though my foal is a result of a dark time in my life."

Ailios watched her. It was apparent to him during the first moments that she had been hurt. She was fearful of stallions, and he was no exception to that fear, for he was of course a stallion. He knew that she knew nothing of him other than his name. For all she knew, he could be cruel and bitter, raging and ruthless. Nothing but a beast looking to make another's life miserable, haunting someone in their nightmares. But this was the complete opposite of what Ailios was. He was kind. He was gentle. But he was fierce in protecting those that needed protecting. He would never harm another with ill intent. He would only ever harm for the saker of saving an innocent and pure life, by taking a tainted and sin-filled one. But sinners can seek forgiveness and become pure, too. But he wasn't going to sit back and let darkness sweep over his newfound home. And he would most certainly be the first to fight for peace and freedom.
He watches her relax, and offers another kind grin. But he makes no movements still. He was already facing her squarely, holding himself as a gentleman would, with pride, but he was in no way asserting himself over her, nor did he hold arrogance or cruelty. His ears perk when she speaks, and his attention focuses the largest majority unto her, though still he remained away of the surroundings, ready to fight off any assault and defend the mare and the unborn child she carried. He nodded, and parted his lips to let his kind, respectful words be heard.
" Every name holds its own importance, Sundancer. And yours is most definitely a beautiful one."
A short pause.
" And you can rest assured I mean you or your unborn child no harm in the smallest way, but rather I would fight to ensure your safety."
Her last few words were interesting... A dark time in her life... This was no doubt what caused the fear, but there were so many options. But he remained quiet as he waited for her response.

With his kind were her nervousness began to subside. She knew now that her unborn child was no tin harm's what, nor was she. I was soon that she would be bringing her child to this world, and she was unsure on what to do. She had no mate to help her, no friends, nothing but herself. As she looked upon his with emerald hues a smile began to grow but she quickly wiped it off her features. What was she thinking? Who was she and what right did she have to look upon such a steed with such carelessness?
Sighing she looked at him once more.
"As I am sure you are wanting to know. It was not long ago that i was careless and let myself alone with a stranger. He hurt me, in...m-m-many ways. She nuzzled her belly. But he has also given me a gift that i now carry. I've waited long to see the face of my own child and the day is coming soon. It will be hard, i have no lover to help me, nothing but myself to depend upon, and now I will have a foal depending on me as well. I worry much.
She sighed, blowing through her nares. Her emeralds full of concern, for her and her child. They were all that mattered. She worried for herself only because of her child, her child needed her to give birth, her child needed her to feed and protect. Her child is what has kept her alive.
