Achilles stepped into the view of the great falls, each drop shinning like a thousand diamonds before crashing into the depths below. He bent his nape to taste the swift water, it rushing into his mouth with a crisp bite. Water dripped from his kissers as he looked up at Bird, then looked down at his reflection, who am I?
After quenching his thirst he looked down to the blue depths below the falls, this was where he had planned on leaving this world, but the thought seemed impossible now. Blowing through his nares his gaze fell back upon the femora, questions seeping through his pools.

Bird stood beside him while he tested the water, then she too couldn't resist the wet liquid. She took a long drink, then lifted her head to glance around. it was beautiful here. Her forelock was swooped to one side, covering her right eye. The gypsy mare was huge, but nothing compared to the stallion who stood beside her.
She smiled up at him, thankful for his company. But when she saw the questioning in his eyes, the smile went away, confusion replacing aw in her eyes. "You can ask me anything, you know...?" It was true. she felt like she could answer any question he asked.

He smiled tenderly at her, her beauty beginning to hit him. He sighed, Adela still in his mind, and looked up to the skies, wondering if night will fall soon. He looked back at Bird and parted his kissers.
"I am sure that you have been claimed as a wanderer since the death of your mother, have you ever experienced love different than what you felt for your mother?
His auds balanced in her directions, tassels caressing his cheek and thick nape.

One ear flicked back when he began to speak and she turned her head to the side, breaking his gaze. She wasn't mad at the question. She didn't think she could be mad at Achilles.
After a few brief moments, she turned her head back to him. "No. I have known few horses in my life. I never had the chance." She worried slightly about his reaction. She had been closed off from the world for the most part. She took a deep breath, but it seemed to come out slightly ragged, her gaze falling to the ground.

Achilles looked upon her with a saddened look. He felt for her, his heart was warming up to her and he was moving on sooner than he believed. He lifted his majestic cranium and nuzzled her. "Bird, I'm here for you, whenever you need me, whatever you want, whatever you need to talk about, I'm here" He wanted to be here for her forever, he needed her with him and he let his eyes do the talking after he spoke.
He smiled softly as he breathed in, his nares buried within her tassels, an then he exhaled and returned his gaze to her eyes.

Lady Bird watched his saddened eyes, but this time it was for her. That took her slightly by surprise, but his words almost made her collapse. Well, inwardly anyways. A shocked look crossed her face for a split second, then... peace. She felt his breath on her neck, and his, his eyes. She shivered, either with pleasure or nervousness, she didn't know. Maybe both.
Suddenly she had the need to say everything. It was a huge compulsion and she gave into it.
"You know my mother died. I told you that already. But my father," her words were in a rush. "I loved, yes, I did. No matter what, I thought. He always made me feel horrible, but I still loved him. Mother said he was verbally abusing me and i shouldn't listen to him, but I always did. His words always seemed louder than her, even when he wasn't even close by and mother was right there." She took a deep breath. She didn't know if Achilles would understand her love of her father. but it didn't matter, she hated him now. "I thought I loved him unconditionally. Turns out, I didn't. He killed my mother, he is the reason she is dead," her tone was angry, but still controlled. Being with Achilles seemed to allow her to control her anger. "I don't know why he did, and quite frankly, I don't care." her ears were pinned now, a fierce sort of look in her eyes. "I want to kill him!" Her anger started to reside. "But I won't. It would must make me feel awful." Her body seemed to sag, but she felt... better. If you could call it that. it was a relief to have told someone.
Fear shot through her and she looked at Achilles. Would he take back what he said because he thinks I am crazy now? "I'm sorry... That just... came out..." She was getting herself ready for him to walk out on her.

Achilles simply stood there, not a word nor sound escaped his kissers. He listened as her words were barbed with anger and sadness. Each word had its own little bite as it pierced his heart. He places his majestic cranium above hers, unsure if she was going to break down or not.
He blew through his nares when she had finished, not sure what to say or if he should say anything at all. She finally spoke with words reeking of slight fear.
"Do not fear of me leaving you, for it seems impossible for me to do so now. I feel as if i am too attached" He closed his orbs, then reopened them, resting his gaze at the ground.

She felt his head above hers and his words cleared the fear out of her. She felt peaceful once again. Now he knew everything. It felt good.
She rubbed her head once against his neck gently, the thought of him staying with her forever filling her with joy. The roar of the waterfalls seemed almost insignificant with him by her side. "Thank you," she told him for the second time today. "I don't ever wish to leave you either."

His heart thundered, she began to take over his mind and he was sure she would soon consume his dreams as well. He looked upon her and parted his kissers, as if words were meant to escape, but nothing. He sighed, his heart telling him to let himself love her, but he was worried. He was not sure if she felt the same.
He was stuck now, between his past and possible future. Who will give him the answers? or must he come up with them himself?

Bird was utterly confused. She had strong feeling that were emerging for this stallion. But what feelings? Love? It was an odd thought for her, especially since he had asked her earlier if she had ever loved another. Maybe it was just love for a friend. But no, the feeling was becoming to strong. Her ears flicked back, her auburn eyes confused. She still had her face hidden under his.
But even if it really was love, she knew she shouldn't approach him. Besides, despite what he said, she probably wasn't all that important to him, not after his lover, and unborn foal, died.
But was that really true? Maybe he was ready to move on, to have another chapter in his life. It was definitly time for her to. Her life had been frozen since her mothers death. She took a deep breath. "Achilles...?" Another deep breath. "What would you say... if I... if I say I might love you...?" Nervousness racked her body at what he would say.

With her question his pools lit up. His heart thundered faster and his breathing increased. He back away a bit, to catch her gaze as he lifted her face to meet his. He smiled and nuzzled her, wanting to embrace her and never let go. His kissers parted and he cleared his throat.
"I would tell you that i love you as well"

This time, she let herself lean into his touch. It was reassuring for her. His touch was warm, wondrerful, addicting. The nervous look on her face disappeared as he spoke, a small smile appearing. Time seemed to stop for a moment, it was just them. It was amazing how two hurting soals could fall for each other. She nuzzled his cheek gently. "Then I must re-answer your question, for it was a partial lie. I have not loved another before, but I do now."
She had told him she had never loved other than the mother/daughter way. She felt happy, for the first time in what seemed ages.

Achilles sighed, feeling comforted by her touch. He ran his kisser down her back, then back up and across her chest, ending as he ran them up her nape. He then nuzzled her lovingly, his heart dying to jump out of his barrel. He was happy, indeed, his past now being taken to the blue depths by the crashing falls, to be no more. He would look froward to his bright future with his new love, she had so much passion hidden inside her.
"Someday we will find your father, m'love...i promise" And he swore that when he did, he would kill him. No matter how pure his heart was, he would kill him.

Bird closed her eyes again as he ran his muzzle all along her back and neck, wanting the warm touch to never end. She rested her own head against his neck, gently nuzzling his shoulder every few seconds. She lifted her head slightly as he spoke, and they almost sounded wonderful to here ears. The thought of her afther dead, though cruel, was a powerful one, one she liked.
And Bird knew that Achilles could beat him, because no matter how powerful he was, Achilles was bigger, and younger. She sighed into his dark mane, her eyes still closed.
She would have loved to stay like this forever, but she knew they couldn't. "Where will we go, Achilles?" That thought had bugged her, but she had always pushed it away, but soon enough it wouldn't be able to be ignored.

Achilles was shocked with her question. This brought upon more worries. Where would they sleep? Where would they live? Surely they need to find a place, even if it wasn't his land. He sighed and looked around.
"I do not know where we shall go love, but we must find a place before darkness falls much more" He spoke as he looked at the sunset.
OOC ahh what are we to do? Heaven? it will be hard to live in a herd seeing as he is a stallion
