 Achilles softly watched Bird. He lower his cranium near hers and nuzzled her nares reassuringly. He felt for this mare, for he was not alone now. Wasn't the only one suffering isn't he background. He re-caught her gaze and flashed a soft smile.
"Im not going anywhere" he whispered.
Achilles then nuzzled her once more, wishing he could remain doing that for eternity. To actually feel the hide of another, to feel the feminine warmth that reminded him of better days. He felt relaxed and the fire was beginning to return, but slowly. He awaited her reaction as he stepped back, patiently. |

She closed her eyes at his soft touch, just barely resisting the urge to lean forward. Her eyes snapped back open when he spoke and he caught her gaze again. His smile made her smile, too. There was actually a spark of happiness in her brown eyes. "Thanks..."
Then he nuzzled her again. He seemed almost reluctant to pull back, but still tell he was hurting. No one could blame him, either.
The gypsy mare let her gaze go north, where one could just make out the heavens. She had not been heading there, and didn't really plan to.
"So... Do you know how to get out of this place?" She was serious, but there was touch of a joke in her quiet words. She really did not know how to get out of there. She had lost herself in the flat grassland that went on forever.

Achilles began to think as she asked him how to get out. He knew about just as much as she did, but because his head was held much higher then her he looked to the distance in every way. He spotted the opening in which he had arrived, and thought she must've come through there as well. It was a couple minutes away, but they would be fine.
Her motioned for her to follow him and turned and started to walk. He stopped looked back and smiled. "This way Miss Bird, i will take you where you want to go, and we will go together"

Bird looked the same way he did. She hesitated a moment when he turned to walk that way. But his words made any doubt go away. Her entire body relaxed, all the tension in her muscles leaving. Together... Her mother had used that word when they escaped her father.
A light smile played on her lips as she walked forward. She had no idea where they would go... They both seemed to be loners, wanderers. Her feathered hooves dug into the ground with her newly found strength, or was it confidence? She didn't know, and really didn't care at the moment. For the first time since her mother died, she felt comfortable around someone. "Thank you..."

His massive bodice thudded with every movement of his feathered daggars. Muscles rippled beneath his hide as they slowly made their way out of the field. He wasn't quite sure where they would be going but he was hoping they could wander together, and possibly remain friends. He sighed, blowing through his nares and looked at her as she met his side.OOc:// where would you like to go?
