. What Altair says, goes, end of story.
. Altair's 'queen' is his lead mare, and she is to be just as much regarded as he is.
. 'His Blood' are all of those he considers worthy heirs, or that have been bred from his queen and himself only.
. 'His Trinkets' are those mares that he favors over the rest for one reason or another.
. The Harem are all of the herd mares, no one may touch them but Altair unless others have permission.
. 'The Kin' are all of the foals within the kingdom that belong to Altair.
. All of the mares are expected to supply Altair with a foal if he wishes it.
. If a lone mare comes into Altair's territory, he has the rights to claim her and more than likely will.
. Be respectful and do as Altair wishes and you are more likely to be respected back and gain the title of being one of his trinkets.
. No mare has the right to leave unless Altair lets her.
. No stallion may fight over more than one of Altair's mares at any time.
. All colts must leave at the age of 2 or must face Altair's teeth and hooves unless he wants the colt to stay.
. When Altair's heir is full grown, fillies of the heir's choice automatically are part of the heir's herd.
. When Altair dies of old age (or any other reason), all those in his herd go to the heir.

Altair is open to any trades involving land, mares, or breeding rights. Here are the basics of trades-
. If a stallion wishes to use part of these lands as his home, he must trade in one of his mares. When the stallion wishes to leave, his mare will be returned.
. If a stallion wants one of the mares in this herd, he must trade one of his own for her. Even then, he must run the trade past Altair to see if he is willing to make said trade.
. If a stallion wants the right to breed with one of the mares in this herd and take the foal as a result, he must trade breeding rights on one of his own mares to Altair.
. All trades are based on the opinion of the mare in question. If she does not wish to be traded for some reason, then the said trade is off.
All trades must be run past Altair beforehand to see if he is willing to make the trade.
