The Rules, People! They’re Vital To This Site!
Please note that these rules are subject to change at anytime, by the admins. So please check back every now and again.
((Anything in beige means it has been added or changed.))
In General:
- ONE ACCOUNT PER I.P ADDRESS PLEASE. Thank you!
- PLEASE be kind and respectful to your fellow members, and the Admins, me(Risk), and Izo. We made this site, so we have the final say in everything that occurs here on Fragile Silence.
- PLEASE no cursing. That’s self-explanatory.
- PLEASE no racial, sexual, or religious material/arguments/comments, ect.
- This is a PG rated role-play site, for beginners clear to advanced role-players. So ABSOLUTELY NO graphic sexuality or extreme violence. We all know what PG rated is, right? If not, better ask someone, so you don’t unknowingly break this rule. Don’t want this to happen to anyone. ^^
- Obey the God of Heaven and Hell at all times (Risk and Izo). What they say goes. But if you want to stand up to them, nothing’s stopping you. Just remember that if anything important to the running of the site comes up, then you MUST follow and obey their orders. It’s for the best of Fragile Silence.
- You can have signatures as long as you want, but PLEASE, don’t make them extremely wide. It can annoy and frustrate other members.
- Don’t forget…. HAVE FUN!!
Rules Regarding Characters:
- Mortal Characters only
- You can have ONLY ONE horse/wolf with powers, having two powers is the MAXIMUM amount of powers one character can have. If admins notice this rules being broken, they will FIRST ask you to remove the power(s) if you already have a joined character with powers. If you do not remove the power, the bio WILL be DELETED. So mind this rules, okay? And remember, we now if there are several profiles with the same person…
- Other than having only ONE character with 2 powers, you can have as many characters as you want. Just make sure to try and keep them as active as possible, okay? That’s very appreciated.
- Follow the forum in the Joining board to make your character bio’s. Follow the forum properly, and you’ll be accepted in no time.
- Remember, all characters have be wild. This mostly applies to those who want to play a canine. You have any existing horse breed in your bio, but when it comes to the dog family, ONLY WOLF SPEICES are allowed here, okay? No Pomeranians, German Shepards , Pitbulls, or any other domestic dog breed, okay? And no, your wolf cannot have a dog breed mixed into its heritage.
Rules Regarding Role-Playing/Posting
Posting in General:
- No godmodding or power playing. Godmodding means making your character impossible to hit or damage (Ex: The horse moved out of the way in a second, the wolf missing by a long shot). This example is something that is not allowed. Powerplaying is when you control a character that is not your own. Like you doing this:
Example:
Bob attacked Dave, ripping a piece of his shoulder off. Dave cried out in horror and anguish at the pain that ripped through his body.
The above example is not allowed. Please DO NOT control any characters other than your own. If you are caught powerplaying, you will get a warning the first, second, and third try. After a fourth violation, you will be banned for three days from Fragile Silence. If you continue to do so, you will be banned for 2 weeks from Fragile Silence. And if it still continued, you will be banned for a month. And any further violation of this rule will result in permanent ban from Fragile Silence. You are allowed plenty of time to improve and learn from your mistakes. This is plenty fair, so no arguing with this rule, please.
Mating/Birthing
- Forcebreeding is allowed, BUT the victim has to be able to fight back, or else it is power playing…
- PLEASE no graphic mating. “He mounted… ((moments later)… He dismounted“. This is okay. But don’t go too far into detail, alright?
- PLEASE try not to breed all your females all the time. Don’t want to give out offspring stats only to never see them used/played, okay? For the sake of those who give you the stats, be considerate and don’t go overboard, okay? But there is no limit, though this can change if things get out of hand.
- Once you’ve had your female mated with, you MUST wait a real-life week before the offspring can be born.
- Please post at least 3 times with your female pregnant, okay? She can’t really fight, or she might hurt the baby. So don’t have a pregnant mare/female wolf fight, acting like she’s not pregnant when she really actually is. We keep records of what happens when and where on the board.
Rules Regarding Offspring/Offspring Stats:
- Supernaturals ((Males and Females)) can ONLY have offspring one every in-game year. ((Ex: Estraya mates in spring, has her baby one week later. She cannot have a baby until next spring)). Normal characters can have as many babes as they so desire, but try not to overpopulate, and make sure the offspring stay active, okay?
- ONLY those given the position/ability to give out offspring stats to pairs/parents can give out offspring stats.
- Do not expect healthy babies all the time. Keep your eye on the seasons, that will help you determine the odds of having healthy babies.
- Once the stats are given, you have seven days before they are born. As stated above, please roleplay pregnancy at least three times during the seven days.
- Those who are allowed to give out stats can do so in whatever style they are comfortable. So please respect them and don’t ask for triplets in mares or 10 pups with female wolves, okay? Just trust that they’ll be fair. If you feel you haven’t been given fair stats, contact an Admin. Don’t take it into an argument or your own hands
- Is someone who is a offspring statter is breeding one of the characters, meaning they play either the mother or the father, they CANNOT do their own offspring stats. Another statter has to give the offspring stats.
- Also, if there is a character with a power breeding with one who doesn’t the odds of the power being passed on are dropped to 50% chance. The odds of two parents with powers having offspring with powers is very good, but still may not happen, so don’t argue if it does.
- Weak/sickly/stillborn offspring happens during the fall and winter more, so try and just breed in spring and summer, okay? You might get lucky, but it’s up to you.
Wolf Offspring
- Litters will vary, but you most likely will not have more than 4 or 5 pups. So don’t ask for more, okay? We are going to try and keep this realistic
- The pups can stay with the parents for as long as they want, or they can try and join another pack. Of course, thus varies between packs and alphas.
- They are weaned at 6 weeks minimum.
- They are considered adults at the age of 2 years old, which means that are sexually mature and can hav their own children.
Horse Offspring
- Twins and more are VERY rare, so don’t expect them okay?
- Must also be pregnant for a real-life week, and rp the pregnancy at least three times during that week.
- Foal is weaned at 9 months old
- The foal is considered an adult at the age of 2 years old, and can have it’s own offspring at this age.
- Foals can stay in the herd if they want, or leave to another herd. Of course, this also varies between herds and leaders.
Fighting/Stealing/Claiming
- ONE TERRITORY PER PERSON. This might change, but don't count on it, okay? So, you can either have a your horse (of any gender) character ruling over a land, OR you can have a wolf (of any gender) ruling a over a land. You CANNOT have two leaders of the same or different speices. Please don't argue this rule.
-Stallions/Male wolves can claim mares/female wolves. So if you do not have a herd/pack and do not want to risk getting claimed, post your character in a non-claiming board. You cannot be claimed here. Only invited to follow them to their land.
- Mares/Female wolves as land rulers can also claim mares/female wolves that are in claiming lands.
- Stallions/Mares, Female/Male wolves can claim and rule terras. Not just males, and not just females can rule as leaders/alphas.
- Stallions can steal mares from other stallions. BUT they must post a challenge in both the terra the mare lives in, and in the Blood Pit in order for the challenge to be valid
- Male wolves can also steal female wolves from their packs, but they must also post the challenge in the land she lives in, and in the Blood Pit.
- Mares and female wolves can also steal other mares/female wolves from other packs, as well as foals and pups, but they also have to post the challenge in the terra the wanted mare/female wolf/foal/pup lives in, and The Blood Pit.
- If a terra is open, feel free to claim it. But if it is owned by someone else, you will have to challenge for it. But if the current owner has been inactive, and you get permission from and admin, you can claim it and not have to wait to win by default.
- Fighting rules are these:
+As many battle posts as you want/agree on
+ 3 attacks (can vary)
+1 dodge (can vary)
But if you do want to have more attacks, just remember you can ONLY have 2 dodges maximum IF you have more 4 attacks in a single post. To keep things fair, so please don’t argue.
-Once the battle has finished, please wait for an authorized person to judge your battle, which is Risk, Izo, or any others who are authorized to do so.
- If the challenged character/challenger fails to reply to a battle post of challenge in 7 days, the one who last posted wins by default.
- When your battle is over and has been judged, you CANNOT challenge the same character until a real-life week has passed. Your battle finished on monday and was judged tuesday, you HAVE to wait until NEXT tuseday. You may rechallenge the same character seven days after judgment was passed.
- If the character you challenge is away, then the challenge is invalid and deleted. You CANNOT challenge someone while they are away, it’s not fair.
Escaping
- If you have a mare/female wolf that was claimed and you do not want to be in that herd/pack, you must either fight for your freedom (see fighting rules), or try to escape through the Thick Forest. If you want to try and escape, leave a riddle/poem/hint about your character. And if the leader or his queen does not guess your character in 7 days, you’re no longer part of that herd/pack. But if you are guessed, then you have to remain in the herd/pack
- You can only try to escape ONCE A WEEK.
- If your leader is away, you CANNOT try and escape until he returns. This is out of fairness. So please don’t argue.
- If you have any young and un-weaned offspring with you (1 and ½ years old or younger), they escape with you.
OOC Rules
- PLEASE no cursing or violent, insulting arguments. Everyone needs to be nice. And if you can’t be nice, don’t say anything, okay?
- Please keep ooc chat (Ex: ^^, lol, ect.) out of posts, okay? In OOC boards and chat box only. Thank you
